Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add linguine and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

  3. Add Garlic and Spice: Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour remaining butter and lemon juice into the skillet; mix well to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Toss It All Together: Add drained linguine, chopped parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss until pasta is coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve & Enjoy: Plate hot, garnishing with extra parsley or cheese if desired.
