  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, another for beaten eggs, and the last for breadcrumbs combined with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then egg, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan and Italian seasoning until melted; season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
