  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix, eggs, and milk until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Poke holes in the cooled cake using the end of a wooden spoon, about one inch apart.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, then pour over the poked cake.
  6. Melt heavy cream and chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat until smooth; allow to cool slightly before spreading over the cake. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
