Method
Prepare the Stuffed Shells
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Stuff each cooked jumbo shell with the chicken and cheese mixture, using a spoon to fill them generously.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
Assemble and Bake
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish, open side up.
- Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells, ensuring they are well covered.
- Sprinkle the extra mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells!
