  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 slider buns (fresh and soft)
  • 8 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium sweet onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Ketchup and mustard (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients; chop onions finely.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no pink remains. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; sauté until onions are translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. Lower heat to low, place slices of cheese on top of the beef mixture, cover with a lid until melted (3-4 minutes).
  5. Assemble sliders by scooping the cheesy beef mixture onto each bun and adding ketchup and mustard as desired.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
