  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in cocoa until smooth.
  3. Mix in sugars and whisk in eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  4. Sift together flour and salt; fold into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, pour half the batter into the pan, drizzle with caramel, add remaining batter and swirl more caramel on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out slightly moist. Let cool before cutting.
