  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup frosting (vanilla or cream cheese)
  • 1 cup melting chocolate (red or pink)
  • 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix cake mix, eggs, melted butter, and water as per package instructions. Pour into a greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  3. Gradually mix in frosting until the mixture holds together but is not too moist.
  4. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and chill on a parchment-lined sheet for at least an hour.
  5. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions. Dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.
  6. Decorate immediately with sprinkles before the chocolate sets. Chill again for one hour before serving.
