  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • For Garnish: 2 green onions (chopped), 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the marinade for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated salmon in a baking dish lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until flaky.
  5. Brush the remaining marinade over the salmon in the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
