  • 1 lb fresh gnocchi
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook gnocchi until they float (about 2 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tbsp butter. Whisk in 4 tbsp flour for about one minute. Gradually add milk while whisking until thickened. Stir in cream cheese until melted.

  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked gnocchi with the cheese sauce, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated.
