  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Scoop about two tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets and create an indentation in each cookie for the caramel.
  5. Fill each indentation generously with salted caramel sauce. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
