  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed Red Hot candies
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and crushed Red Hot candies.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and eggs until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the butter-egg mixture until just combined.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool on wire racks before serving.
