Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms (optional), sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers for about 5 minutes until softened. Add mushrooms if using. Stir in the ribeye steak seasoned with garlic powder, cooking until just browned (about 3 minutes). Remove from heat.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
  4. Layer the cooked steak mixture down the center of the dough and top with provolone cheese slices.
  5. Fold the sides of the dough over the filling to create an envelope shape. Seal edges tightly and cut slits on top for steam release.
  6. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, brush with additional olive oil for crispiness, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Slice and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
