  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and place it on a roasting rack in a large pan.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in brown sugar, honey, bourbon, Dijon mustard, and cinnamon until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Mix in chopped pecans and pour half of the glaze over the ham.
  5. Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 1 hour, basting every 20 minutes.
  6. Remove foil during the last 30 minutes to achieve a golden finish; ensure the internal temperature reaches about 140°F before serving.
