  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey (to taste)
  • 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  2. While tea is hot, stir in the sugar or honey until dissolved.
  3. In a large pitcher, muddle sliced peaches and basil leaves to release their juices.
  4. Pour the brewed tea into the pitcher over the muddled mixture and stir gently.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill and allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve over ice with extra peach slices as garnish.
