Granulated sugar
Lemon zest
Fresh lemon juice
Unsalted butter
Eggs
Baking powder
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat; let it cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth.
Gradually fold in the flour and baking powder until just combined; avoid overmixing for chewy brownies.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before slicing into squares.
