  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth

  • 15 oz ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped onions until golden brown. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned completely. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and beef broth to form the soup base.
  4. Add pasta and Italian seasoning; simmer until pasta is al dente.
  5. Reduce heat and gently fold in ricotta cheese if using, followed by mozzarella on top. Cover briefly until the cheese has melted.
