Ingredients
Scale
1 whole wheat pizza dough (12-inch)
2 cups fresh spinach
1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained
4 oz low-fat cream cheese
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté fresh spinach and drained artichoke hearts until the spinach wilts (about 3-4 minutes).
In a bowl, mix low-fat cream cheese with garlic powder and oregano until smooth; this will be your sauce.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough. Top with sautéed spinach and artichokes, followed by shredded mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired, slice, and serve.
