  • 1 cup Guinness stout (or any dark stout)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients followed by the Guinness until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling for about ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
