  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup pear or apple puree
  • 3 green onions (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and pear or apple puree until smooth.
  2. Place beef short ribs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 3 hours; overnight is best.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  4. Remove ribs from marinade and place on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until you achieve grill marks and desired doneness.
