  • 3 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 scallions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Rice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together gochujang, maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss until well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Spread the marinated tofu on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
