  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
  • 4 garlic cloves, roasted
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water with active dry yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and oregano.
  3. Combine yeast mixture and olive oil with dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Punch down the dough and fold in roasted garlic and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread dough onto an oiled baking sheet; dimple with fingers, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
