  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Squeeze in lemon juice and sprinkle red pepper flakes, stirring everything together for another minute.
  4. Toss in the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Add parsley, toss again, and serve warm with additional parsley on top if desired.
