Fresh crusty bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
Whole milk ricotta cheese
Ripe heirloom tomatoes
Lightly toasted sesame seeds
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil leaves (optional)
Instructions
Toast thick slices of bread until golden brown.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper until creamy.
Optionally, sauté diced tomatoes in olive oil until softened.
Spread ricotta generously on each slice of toast.
