1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1¾ cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Create a well in the center and add buttermilk and melted butter; mix gently until just combined.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 30 seconds.
Shape into a round loaf, about 1-1½ inches thick, and cut an X on top.
Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
