Easy Chicken Yakisoba is a quick and flavorful Japanese stir-fried noodle dish that combines tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and savory sauces. This delightful recipe takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and is perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests at dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz yakisoba noodles
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prep all ingredients: slice chicken into strips, shred cabbage, and julienne carrots.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add garlic, cabbage, and carrots; stir-fry for a few minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  4. Add yakisoba noodles; if stuck together, rinse under warm water first. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce; stir continuously for 2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving. Garnish with scallions or sesame seeds if desired.
