  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (100g)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (100g)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the Potatoes: Peel and cube potatoes. Cook in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and return to pot.
  2. Mash the Potatoes: Add butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mash until smooth.
  3. Mix in Cheddar: Stir in shredded cheese and let cool slightly.
  4. Form Balls: Scoop mixture into balls about one inch in diameter.
  5. Prepare Breading: Beat eggs in one bowl; place breadcrumbs in another. Dip each ball into egg wash and roll in breadcrumbs.
