  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and cook until no pink remains. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water; mix well.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and press seams together to form one sheet.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, then layer with chopped tomatoes and black beans if using. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling to enclose it. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
