  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined to keep blondies chewy.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk until smooth; drizzle over warm blondies before cutting into squares.
