  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup fresh lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 7 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth; cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until thickened. Lower heat and add cheddar cheese; stir until melted and creamy.
  4. Fold in lobster meat gently, then mix with cooked macaroni until well combined.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with panko breadcrumbs, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
