  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and milk according to package instructions. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
