  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup blue sprinkles
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined to avoid tough cookies.
  5. Gently fold in red and blue sprinkles.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
